Overcoming Rural Connectivity Challenges With Brdy’s Starlink Business Solution

The challenge:
David, the Director of Suerte Consulting Ltd, faced significant challenges working remotely due to an unreliable broadband connection at his home. This poor connectivity forced him to travel 16 miles to town to complete his assignments, resulting in daily costs of £150 for desk and internet access. This arrangement was not only inconvenient and costly but also particularly difficult for David, who is disabled.
The problem:
David’s home is located in a rural area in Wales with hilly terrain, which obstructs the line of sight necessary for most effective satellite and 4G solutions. The Impact:
The switch to Starlink resulted in significantly lower latency and improved connection quality and speed, matching David’s data usage needs. He uses the internet primarily for multi-party video conferencing via MS Teams and similar platforms, as well as for data file transfers. Additionally, David is saving £150 per day, which he previously spent on travel and subsistence.
