Starlink Expands To Over 100 Countries, Connecting 3 Million Subscribers Worldwide.
Starlink has reached a new milestone in its mission to provide global connectivity, now offering its satellite internet services in more than 100 countries around the world. With more than 3 million active subscribers, Starlink continues to transform internet access for remote and underserved areas.
Countries benefiting from Starlink's high-speed, low-latency internet include the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and regions in Europe, Africa and Asia. Demand has soared in countries such as Ukraine, where the service has reached full capacity.
Expanding global coverage
Astronomer Jonathan McDowell reported in August 2024 that there were 6,350 Starlink satellites in orbit, with 6,290 fully operational. Following the latest satellite launch on 12 September 2024, Starlink has successfully deployed an additional 21 satellites, 13 of which are equipped with Direct-to-Cell capabilities. This brings the total number of active Starlink satellites to 6,371.
